A new UN report is warning that the world is likely to cross the 1.5-degree Celsius global warming threshold within the next few years. That was the key target of the Paris Climate Agreement, and the UN says crossing it is now virtually unavoidable. But scientists say there is still an opportunity to limit how high temperatures rise and how long they stay there. Robert Fajber is an Assistant Professor at McGill University who specializes in climate modelling and climate impacts, he spoke to Andrew Carter.
