Nvidia signed memorandums of understanding with Apollo, BlackRock's Global Infrastructure Partners, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR to launch compute financing platforms aimed at mobilizing more than $500 billion of third-party capital for AI infrastructure. Jensen Huang said Nvidia has the option to backstop up to $125 billion — 25% — of the potential deals. For the first time, institutional investors are treating AI compute itself as an investable infrastructure asset class with long-duration, usage-linked returns.
