Episode Details

Hello there,

Turn it up—JC’s Bangers & Mosh is going unmistakably Australian!

Hour One takes a road trip through the sound of Australian rock and pub rock, from the raw power of AC/DC and The Angels to Australian Crawl, Men at Work, Mental As Anything, INXS, Hoodoo Gurus, Hunters & Collectors, Paul Kelly, Powderfinger and The Screaming Jets.

Then Hour Two belongs to one of Australia’s greatest rock stories: Cold Chisel and Jimmy Barnes. We explore the band, the solo career, the songwriters and the unmistakable voice behind a catalogue that has become part of the country itself.

It all builds to an extraordinary closing sequence: “Bow River”, “Saturday Night”, “Flame Trees” and “Khe Sanh”.

Twenty-five tracks. Two hours. One loud and proudly Australian celebration of great rock music.

Please enjoy
