UPDATE: Sasser pleaded guilty to using interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire. On September 18, 2024 U.S. District Judge Thomas A. Varlan sentenced her to 100 months (8 years, 4 months) in federal prison, plus 3 years of supervised release and $5,389.31 in restitution.
