Description
Today, Loretta welcomes back Linda Yael Schiller, MSW, LICSW who is an international teacher, psychotherapist, consultant, author, and dreamwork specialist with more than four decades of experience exploring the intersection of dreams, trauma, mind-body healing, and spirituality. She is the author of Modern Dreamwork: New Tools for Decoding Your Soul’s Wisdom, PTSDreams: Transform Your Nightmares from Trauma Through Healing Dreamwork, and Ancestral Dreaming: Heal Generational Wounds through Dreamwork, as well as the workbook Integrated and Embodied Trauma Treatment. Linda’s work brings together contemporary psychology, trauma-informed practice, dreamwork, and spiritual exploration. Trained in EMDR, energy psychology, somatic and expressive therapies, and hypnotherapy, she has taught and trained professionals internationally and is Professor Emeritus at Boston University School of Social Work and Simmons University. She facilitates dream circles and offers individual, group, and professional consultation, helping people use dreams not only for insight but as pathways toward healing, creativity, and transformation. In her ancestral dreamwork, Linda explores how family stories, unresolved grief, trauma, resilience, and gifts may travel through generations—and how dreams and waking practices can help us recognize what belongs to us and what may have been inherited. Her work includes ancestral visitation dreams, dream incubation, complicated and uncomplicated grief, epigenetics and intergenerational trauma, adoption and multiple lineages, ancestral traditions from around the world, healthy boundaries with ancestors, and the possibility of healing patterns rather than unconsciously passing them forward.
