Noelle Mering is a writer, Catholic, and mother. Her recent book "Awake, Not Woke" is an elegant précis (pronounced prāˈsē or ˈprāsē, by the way) that developed the key values animating woke activism and thought, and then put these values into dialogue with her Catholic faith.
