WVU fans haven’t forgotten what happened against Ohio. The Mountaineers entered as the more talented team, but injuries, offensive-line problems and an inability to sustain drives produced a humiliating 17–10 loss. Now, with Coastal Carolina coming to Morgantown, some fans fear another upset could be coming. But this is not the same West Virginia team. WVU had nearly its entire projected lineup together for spring practice, Rick Trickett has taken over the offensive line, Michael Hawkins adds a dangerous running threat at quarterback and Cam Cook leads a much deeper backfield.
