Would You Sacrifice a Whole MLB Season for a Salary Cap?
Published 4 weeks, 1 day ago
Description
The guys react to the Guardians' ugly 11-0 shutout loss to the Blue Jays and the Clippers' record-setting punishment from the NBA, then dive into an ESPN anonymous-player survey on a potential MLB salary cap and lockout. Ken and Anthony make the case that they'd gladly sacrifice an entire season if it meant a real cap and floor system, arguing it would finally put a team like the Guardians on level footing with big spenders. A caller pushes back with a pointed question about whether a high salary floor could actually force some owners to sell.
