Cs: Ve třpytu letního slunce, které skrz křišťálově čistá okna prostupovalo do moderní kanceláře, Jirka seděl u svého stolu a hloubal nad úkolem, který před ním ležel.
En: In the glitter of the summer sun, which penetrated the modern office through crystal-clear windows, Jirka sat at his desk pondering the task before him.
Cs: Skleněné příčky a nekonečné řady stolů vytvářely dojem dokonalé organizace, zároveň však atmosféru, která mu připadala chladná a neosobní.
En: Glass partitions and endless rows of desks created an impression of perfect organization, but at the same time, an atmosphere that seemed cold and impersonal to him.
Cs: Jirka byl pečlivým a ambiciózním zaměstnancem, ale nyní měl i novou odpovědnost - byl otcem.

Cs: “Chvíli bylo ticho.

Cs: Jirka cítil, že vánek naděje může být potichu poražen.
