The Dolphins NEED Malik Willis to Be Good
Description
Malik Willis has to deliver for the Miami Dolphins in 2026 because the quarterback depth behind him remains a major question. After moving on from Quinn Ewers, Cam Miller and Mark Gronowski, Miami rebuilt its backup QB room with Kyle McCord and Brady Cook—but can either keep the Dolphins afloat if Willis goes down?
Wes Goldberg explains why Willis’ performance and availability could determine Miami’s season. Plus, the Dolphins finally know their Week 1 opponent at quarterback: Kirk Cousins will start for Las Vegas instead of rookie Fernando Mendoza. What does that matchup mean for Jeff Hafley, Chop Robinson and Miami’s defense?
