Local artists disappointed in Madison museum’s upcoming AI art piece

The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art is planning to install a new exhibit that will feature AI-generated artwork, saying that it will generate important conversations about the role of AI technology in our lives. But the Madison artist community has expressed vocal disapproval of the piece, citing ethical concerns around the training of AI images.
