Listener mail is warmly welcomed 🙋‍♀️

This is a very special episode because it’s an interview - or more like a chat - with a one-in-a-million sort of person, whose family have lived on Lundy Island for generations.  This is Lucy, a lady we met by chance and whose infectious joy and delight in life and the Island of Lundy blew me away.
I’m sorry to say that because we chatted in the Island pub it’s a little noisy.  I’ve had a go at improving the sound - I hope you can hear all that she has to say.
This is a must- listen for anyone thinking of going to Lundy or interested in island life.  Lucy talks of her incredible grandfather, an artist who painted the pieces for the special Lundy Island stamps.  She talks of the links between family members and locations on the island, such as the beautiful spot where there is a plaque to commemorate the life of her mother.
I would love feedback on this episode as I feel Lucy deserves the praise.  I could sense that I was talking to a very special lady and it was an honour for me to meet and spend time with her.  Thank you Lucy x
