Ownership isn't for everybody. Great ownership of a genuinely great enterprise is for very few.

That's not a challenge. It's information, and you're allowed to use it to walk away.

But before you decide, there's an audit worth running on your own instincts; what actually moves you, what leaves you cold, and whether the prospect of having to earn something difficult reads as exciting or as a reason to go find an easier offer down the road.

Whatever you find is the right answer. It just has to be honest.
