En: Gareth was sitting at his desk looking as if he might explode at any moment.
Cy: Yn yr swyddfa fawr, agored, roedd siom yn llenwi'r awyr.
En: In the large, open office, disappointment filled the air.
Cy: Roedd y tabl glas a chrocodorange's system, yn taflu goleuni prydferth dros bob cornel, ond Gareth dim ond y ffeil a gollwyd oedd yn ei feddwl.
En: The blue table and crocodorange's system cast beautiful light over every corner, but all Gareth could think about was the lost file.
Cy: Roedd y gyflwyniad fawr i’r cleient yn y prynhawn.
En: The big presentation for the client was that afternoon.

En: she murmured, as the sounds of thunder and rain started lulling against the windows outside.
Cy: "Mae e wedi mynd," meddai Gareth, eu hwyneb yn tynhau o bryder.

En: "You're kidding?
Cy: Pa ffeil?
En: Which file?"
Cy: " holai Bronwen, gan syllu ar y calendr hydrefoliadau ar y wal.
En: asked Bronwen, staring at the autumn-themed calendar on the wall.
Cy: "Ffeil y cleient," atebodd Gareth yn diffoddol.
En: "The client file," replied Gareth forlornly.
Cy: "Rhaid i mi ei gael yn ôl cyn y cyflwyniad.
En: "I have to get it back before the presentation."
Cy: "Heb os nac oni bai, dechreuoedd Bronwen chwilio.
En: Without a doubt, Bronwen began searching.
Cy: Penderfynodd Gareth gofio’i camau.
En: Gareth decided to retrace his steps.
Cy: Lle roedd wedi gadael y ffeil ddiwethaf?
En: Where had he left the file last?
Cy: Yn y swyddfa, roedd y cafn dillad a drawsnewidiwyd yn ryfedd yn hafan frenesi lle disgynnai papurau i’r llawr.
En: In the office, the clothing crate was strangely transformed into a frantic haven where papers cascaded to the floor.
Cy: Edrychodd Gareth drwy'r holl ffeiliau, ystafelloedd cyfarfod llawn cofnodion oedd fel darllen cylchlythyr colofn laith.
En: Gareth looked through all the files, meeting rooms full of minutes that felt like reading a damp column newsletter.
Cy: "O druan," meddai Bronwen yn sydyn.
En: "Oh dear," Bronwen suddenly said.
Cy: "Ai- o ni rhaid siarad ag Aneira?
En: "Must we talk to Aneira?"
Cy: "Roedd Gareth yn betrusgar.
En: Gareth hesitated.
Cy: Roedd Aneira yn rheolwraig glyfar a beiddiaf, ond oddim ond cymaint o lawer yn deimlad.
En: Aneira was a smart and daring manager, but only so much could be felt from such a distance.
Cy: Ond, o fewn eiliad, wnaeth Gareth penderfynu byddai'r amser yn rheoli anarferol.
En: Yet, within moments, Gareth decided it was time to act unusually.
Cy: Pan gyferbynodd Aneira nesaf, roedd Gareth eisoes wedi hen fynd drwy bob manylyn ei gof.
