  • Dell (DELL) shares jumped after the company boosted its annual sales forecast by $25 billion in a further sign of surging demand for servers to run artificial intelligence tasks. 
  • GE Vernova (GEV) has committed to repairing large portions of Venezuela’s power grid as part of a series of deals being touted by the Trump administration to boost the country’s energy output. US Energy Secretary Chris Wright, speaking on Bloomberg Television on Wednesday morning, confirmed the company has agreed to a Venezuela deal, but didn’t provide details. Shares of GE Vernova rallied in trading on Wednesday. 
  • HPE (HPE) boosted its sales outlook for this fiscal year and next, saying artificial intelligence workloads are driving demand for servers and networking gear. “We are turning exceptional demand into durable profitable growth,” Chief Executive Officer Antonio Neri said in an interview. Shares of HPE rose in postmarket trading.
