The Kluver and Eickholt Power Hour returns and we start by discussing Iowa basketball recruiting, including five-star point guard Daughtry’s official visit during the Cy-Hawk game and another 6’10" recruit visiting later in the month, plus brief WNBA/FIBA talk. They run through FanDuel Big Ten win totals (Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin at 6.5) and project Nebraska under with a tough schedule while leaning Minnesota and Wisconsin over. For Iowa football, they emphasize concerns about PAT/field goal consistency, optimism about punting and returns, and the ongoing QB competition between Jeremy Hacklinski and Hank Brown, with both expected to play and Hacklinski viewed as having an edge. They also cover Cael Winter winning the starting center job over Cade Peeper (who stays at guard), strong OL depth, RB room confidence, FCS transfer development, early-season goals, bold predictions (Lutmer punt return TD; Tony Diaz scoring first TD), and Brandon Scherff as the 2026 ANF honoree, before promoting HawkeyeInsider/Swarmcast’s live schedule.
