The aftermath of Ukraine’s massive strike on Wildberries near Moscow is far worse for Russia than it first appeared. The 250,000-square-meter Koledino logistics hub—Wildberries’ largest—was left heavily damaged after burning through the night, bringing the total to seven of the company’s ten largest logistics centers struck and stopped. But the implications extend well beyond one warehouse: Ukrainian drones penetrated Moscow’s layered air defenses, Russia’s logistics network is losing its biggest nodes, financial pressure is spreading to businesses and banks, and the war is becoming increasingly difficult for Moscow to keep hidden from ordinary Russians.
