As a result, workers pay more every year while receiving less, services are dangerously understaffed, medical staff are chronically overworked, patients deteriorate and die on waiting lists, and those who can afford to do so are forced to turn to the private sector to obtain treatment. Note to trade unionists: This text has been compiled to help you frame a motion on this topic to your union branch or annual congress.
