Screens are now part of everyday life for many children, but a long-term study following children from age one to eight found heavier screen use at age one, and again around age six, was linked to poorer academic performance. So what does this research actually tell us about young brains, and should parents be rethinking screen time? Neuroscientist and science communicator Dr. Samantha Yammine, better known as Science Sam, spoke to Andrew Carter.
