Browns Fans Are Furious Luke Floreia Didn't Even Make the Practice Squad
Published 1 month ago
Description
Ken and Anthony explain why the fanbase reacted so strongly to Luke Floreia getting cut from both the 53-man roster and the practice squad, tying it to fans desperately wanting a local, likable player to root for on a team they expect to be bad and don't like the quarterback for. They draw parallels to Nick Chubb and Denzel Ward as beloved homegrown Browns, while Ken explains why he's historically wary of hyping local prospects given how personally fans invest in them. The segment closes with Ken noting the deeper issue: with a roster fans can't easily rally behind, this looks like a long, joyless season ahead.
