Texas State head coach and former Longhorn G.J. Kinne previews his return to DKR for a massive season opener against Texas. Kinne calls Steve Sarkisian arguably the best play caller in college football, says this may be Sark’s most talented roster and explains why Arch Manning is far more dangerous than the traditional pocket passer many expect.

Kinne also reveals how the Bobcats are preparing for Will Muschamp’s new defense, a crowd of more than 100,000 and a Texas roster featuring approximately 15 projected draft picks. Texas State plans to rotate heavily, limit explosive plays and lean on veteran quarterback Brad Jackson while playing with nothing to lose. Kinne makes the goal clear: the Bobcats are coming to Austin to win.
