Yavapai College Women’s Soccer hosted Pima Community College at Amphitheater Park in Prescott Valley on Sat. Aug. 29. Despite four shots from Eliza Palmer and five saves from goalie Jessica Welch, the Roughriders fell 0-4. Yavapai Women’s Soccer is now 1-2 this season. They are at Scottsdale Community College on Mon. Aug. 31. The home match for Yavapai Men’s Soccer against Pima Community College on the same day was canceled due to lightning.
