Clare TD Claims Government Actions Delaying Future Fuel Protests

TD's returned early from their summer break on Friday (28th), to debate changes to fuel supports.
The Government agreed to delay planned increases in excise duty, with the reductions now to be phased out between November and February.
To discuss this further, Alan Morrissey was joined by Timmy Dooley, Tulla-based Fianna Fail Minister of State, and Donna McGettigan, Shannon Sinn Fein TD.
