ADOT Completes 24 Miles of US 160 Improvements

US 160 in Northeastern Arizona now features fresh pavement due to an Arizona Department of Transportation project completed in partnership with the Navajo Nation. The top layer of pavement was removed and replaced along 24 miles of US 160 between mileposts 416-440, improving the driving surface. Along with the pavement rehabilitation, crews made safety enhancements such as replacing guardrail, installing rumble strips, building up the shoulders, and paving turnouts off of the highway. Paving wrapped up with a chip seal treatment and new pavement markings. Crews also replaced the existing bridge rail on the Walker Creek Bridge at milepost 435...
