Healing Field Tribute in Tempe Honors 9/11 Victims
Description
In memory of those who tragically lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, the Exchange Club of Tempe will present the Healing Field® tribute Thursday, Sept. 10, through Sunday, Sept. 13. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the attacks. The Healing Field memorial reflects on the tragedy of that day and pays tribute to the nearly 3,000 innocent lives that were lost. Thousands of American flags will be placed throughout Tempe Beach Park, representing each victim. Every year, members of the community dedicate hundreds of hours to this grassroots effort to assemble and place the flags. It's a moving...
