The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) has received a donation of 55 grounding mats from Earthing® to be distributed in all CAFMA fire stations throughout its 369-square-mile service area in Yavapai County, including Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt and surrounding unincorporated areas. The donated mats will be placed in firefighter sleeping quarters and designated rest areas. The mats are designed to connect to a grounded electrical outlet and can be used while sitting, standing, or resting. CAFMA firefighters work 48-hour shifts, spending 48 consecutive hours on duty at their stations. Crews must remain ready to respond to emergencies...
