“Think I Got Away With It”.. Grim Notes Found in an Alleged Parent Killer's Car - RAELENE POLYMIADIS

Published 1 week, 2 days ago
Description

Australian woman Raelene Polymiadis is currently standing trial in South Australia's Supreme Court, accused of murdering her 94-year-old parents, Brenda and Lynton Anderson, with fatal doses of insulin 14 months apart. Neither parent was diabetic, while Polymiadis has Type 1 diabetes and access to prescription insulin. Prosecutors allege she once described insulin as the “perfect murder weapon” and say covert police recordings later captured her praying about having “sinned twice” while referencing her parents' refusal to enter a nursing home.

Investigators also discovered handwritten notes allegedly prepared before police interviews. Polymiadis has pleaded not guilty and denies administering insulin to either parent. Her defense argues prosecutors cannot prove who administered the insulin and says there is a reasonable possibility Lynton administered it himself. This episode follows the deaths, investigation, secret recordings, arrest and ongoing 2026 Adelaide murder trial.
