Mientras nos preparamos para la segunda mitad del año de El Sonido: Cancioneros, abrimos los archivos oficiales de KEXP para revisitar algunas de las sesiones Live on KEXP más memorables de artistas latinoamericanos, iberoamericanos y caribeños.

En este noveno episodio regresamos a Buenos Aires, Argentina, para revisitar la sesión de Fin del Mundo, grabada por KEXP en 2022 en el Centro Cultural Kirchner. Con fuertes raíces en la Patagonia argentina y un sonido que cruza post-rock, shoegaze y dream pop, la banda llegó a este escenario todavía sin haber publicado un álbum de larga duración. La sesión superó ampliamente el millón y medio de reproducciones y se convirtió en una poderosa ventana internacional para un proyecto independiente que poco después comenzaría a llevar su música a escenarios de Europa y América Latina.

As we prepare for the second half of the year of El Sonido: Cancioneros, we're opening KEXP's official archives to revisit some of the most memorable Live on KEXP sessions by Latin American, Iberian, and Caribbean artists.

In this tenth episode, we return to Buenos Aires, Argentina to revisit Fin del Mundo's 2022 session, recorded by KEXP at the Centro Cultural Kirchner. With deep roots in Argentine Patagonia and a sound that moves between post-rock, shoegaze, and dream pop, the band arrived at this stage before releasing a full-length album. The session went on to surpass well over 1.5 million views, becoming a powerful international window for an independent project that would soon take its music to stages across Europe and Latin America.
