Surprise! It's a New Years movie episode. I had never seen Mermaids but heard about the performances by Winona Ryder and the debut of Christina Ricci. Charles suggested it and here we are. 

This is a delight of a film and I can't believe more people don't talk about it. Charles talks his deep connection with the film, we get into how the fashion throughout is actually incredible, and all the funny moments and quotes.
