In this episode of The Good, The Bad & The Ugly Podcast, Tony Murrell sits down with Gemma Anyon, Transformative Belief Coach and founder of Inspired Futures CIC and Next Gen MEM®.

Gemma shares her remarkable story of going into care at just 10 years old and the challenges she faced growing up. She opens up about studying childhood trauma, battling addiction from a young age, experiencing domestic violence, and eventually reaching rock bottom.

A self-help retreat became a major turning point for Gemma, helping her change her mindset and begin a journey towards finding herself and finally experiencing happiness.

Today, Gemma is using those experiences to help others. We discuss the charity and organisations she has founded, her work supporting young people, her connection with entrepreneur Simon Squibb, his support of her work, and her appearance on Dragons’ Den.

Gemma also gives her perspective on the state of the care system and explains why she believes changing the way young people see themselves can change the direction of their lives.

A raw and inspiring conversation about childhood trauma, addiction, resilience, mindset, and turning adversity into purpose.
