Packernet Podcast - Alright Pack Nation, what's going on? Cal Hutson here, back in the lab, coffee already half-gone, and I just finished watching the Packers and Cardinals put on one of the most ridiculous preseason finales I've seen in a long time. Forty-two to thirty-eight. Green Bay wins. And I'm sitting here trying to figure out if I should be excited, concerned, or just laughing at the chaos.
First things first — Kyle McCord. The kid played the entire game. Jordan Love and Tyrod Taylor were in street clothes. McCord goes twenty-two of thirty-five, two hundred twenty-six yards, four touchdowns, zero interceptions. And he saves the best for last. Down eleven with under five minutes left, and he just starts dealing. Two touchdowns to Kisean Johnson in the final three and a half minutes. The second one with twenty seconds on the clock. That's the kind of moment that makes you sit up a little straighter on the couch.
