The Suitcase M*rder That Shocks Thailand & Australia.. CAKE TUNCHANOK
Description
In June 2026, 17-year-old Thai teenager Tunchanok “Cake” Donhomla travelled from Kalasin to Pattaya after telling her family she wanted to see the sea. On June 25, CCTV captured Cake entering a condominium with 45-year-old Australian Simon Peter Carman. Hours later, cameras allegedly showed Carman transporting a large suitcase toward nearby railway tracks.
Cake was reported missing the following day, and police arrested Carman at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport as he prepared to fly to Australia. Her body was subsequently discovered inside a suitcase near the railway line. Thai police say an autopsy found Cake died from suffocation and suffered a brain injury, while Carman's DNA allegedly matched evidence recovered from her body. Carman denies murder and says he acted in self-defense following a dispute over money. He remains in custody awaiting further legal proceedings.
