TMIQ Today: FDA Food Safety Delays
Description
Welcome to our new series, The Most Important Question Today. These will be short (1-3 minutes) drops, responding to just one news story daily, with action steps.
Today: The FDA is handling eleven different food poisoning cases right now, and even though we have a rule passed by Congress in 2011 to require recordkeeping for traceability, there's been delay after delay in implementation.
What you can do:
Urge your elected officials to start the rule for real in January.
