Episode Details

The College Football Show is here, and host Shane Barrett runs through the three Week Zero games he is watching most, the players who will swing them, and the bets he is backing before Saturday.

He opens in Dublin with North Carolina and TCU, where Billy Edwards Jr. takes over Bill Belichick's offense against TCU quarterback Jaden Craig and All-Big 12 safety Jamel Johnson. Then it is an ACC opener in Charlottesville between NC State and Virginia, headlined by CJ Bailey, Miami transfer linebacker Popo Aguirre, and a retooled Virginia defense. The night caps with Memphis at UNLV, a meeting of two Group of Six College Football Playoff hopefuls, where Jackson Arnold gets his shot for the Rebels and Memphis counters with a brand-new quarterback.

Shane has a side he likes in all three, plus one live underdog he is not afraid to back if you are feeling dangerous. Press play to get every pick before kickoff.

Topics covered in this episode: the Week Zero Top 25 landscape, North Carolina vs TCU, NC State vs Virginia, Memphis vs UNLV, the players to watch, and Shane's best bets for the opening slate.
