Episode Details

The Adventures of Superman presents “The Curse of Dead Man’s Island Part-2,” originally broadcast September 25, 1940. This is episode 98 of the early syndicated transcription series, starring Bud Collyer as Clark Kent/Superman and Jackie Kelk as Jimmy Olsen.

After their boat is wrecked near remote Dead Man’s Island, Clark and Jimmy discover a secluded stone castle hidden in the forest. Inside, they meet the guarded Ilana and her hawk, while unsettling sounds and secretive conversations deepen the mystery—and Clark must investigate without revealing his identity as Superman.

Old Time Retro Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
