That's the catch
We use this when something seems good at first, but there is a hidden problem, disadvantage, or condition.
Example:
Imagine someone is offered a job they’ve wanted for a long time.
The work is interesting, the salary is good, and the company seems great.
But there’s one problem.
The job would require them to move very far away from their family.
They say:
“I really want to take it. That’s the catch, though. I’d have to move across the country.”
