Dr. Andrew Brooks became superintendent of Knoxville School District 202 on July 1, nearly 26 years after teaching his first class in the district. He joined Galesburg's Morning News on Friday, Aug. 28, to talk about his first months on the job, including a new PK-8 building project set to break ground this month and a district budget he says has already turned a corner.
