Episode Details

When you learn facts about the solar system and universe, you get all these unimaginable numbers. Millions and billions of light-years! It's hard to really take it all in. So let's scale things waaay down. The Earth is now the size of a grain of sand, and the Sun is a rock.

Now see how far away you'll have to walk from our teeny tiny sand Earth just to get to neighboring Mars and Venus. Watch how mind-blowingly far away Jupiter and Pluto are from our Sun rock. (Spoiler alert: you'll need to get in a car and drive a long distance!)

And even with such a small scale, things will still get intensely far away and massive when we look at the true size of the universe. Space is epic, here's proof! ??
