The Town of Queen Creek is celebrating Constitution Week Sept. 12-19 with several opportunities to honor our nation’s history as part of the Town’s yearlong celebration of America 250. The week will include a student art and poetry contest, a free community concert on Sept. 12, recognition at the Sept. 16 Town Council meeting and special activities during Founders’ Day on Sept. 19. Patriotic Art & Poetry Contest K-12 students attending schools within Queen Creek are invited to submit an original poem or piece of artwork celebrating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
