Camp HERo Program for Young Women in Avondale
Description
Avondale Fire & Medical is now accepting applications for Camp HERo, a free, hands-on program designed for young women ages 14–18 who are interested in learning more about fire, EMS, and emergency services. Camp HERo gives participants the opportunity to train alongside Avondale Fire & Medical personnel while building confidence, practicing teamwork, learning fire safety, and developing life-saving skills. Participants will also have the opportunity to earn CPR certification. The program is open to young women across the valley, ages 14–18 who are currently enrolled in school or have graduated within the year. Applicants should be ready to step outside...
