On today's show I sat down with Indiana native Steve Wright, a former producer/editor on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette who spent 16 years with the franchise after starting as a logger in post-production.

Steve explains how reality TV is not scripted but heavily edited through storytelling choices, outlines the split between field production and post, and describes the night-one filming schedule and long edit timeline. He shares memorable entrances (including a helicopter on Emily Maynard's season), secrecy mishaps while filming, and reflections on notable leads like Ben Higgins, Chris Soules, and Sean Lowe.

Steve also discusses his indie puppet film Allan the Dog, plans for a future Indiana-based comedy-horror puppet movie, and ends with an in-studio appearance by the Allan puppet.
