The New York Islanders are giving fans control of their third jersey, and the Navy Lighthouse design won the vote. In this mailbag episode, we break down the goaltending plan with Ilya Sorokin and Semyon Varlamov, the center logjam featuring Mathew Barzal and Bo Horvat, and the defensive pairings with Tony DeAngelo.
We answer fan questions on whether Varlamov gets traded, who wins the backup job, and which young winger like Victor Eklund or Quinn Finley could break out. Plus, a fantasy trade hypothetical and a lightning round on playoff predictions.
Tune in for the latest on the Isles' roster battles and season outlook as they prepare for the preseason opener against Toronto on September 30.
In this episode: Jersey and Goaltending Questions · Roster and Depth Battles · Hypotheticals and Lightning Round.
