In Part 2 of the Lindsay Clancy case, we examine the final weeks of her 2026 Massachusetts murder trial and the central question now facing the jury: was Clancy criminally responsible when she killed her three children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, in January 2023? Her defense argues she suffered from bipolar disorder with postpartum psychosis and experienced a command hallucination telling her to kill the children. Prosecutors agree Lindsay was mentally ill but argue she remained capable of understanding right from wrong.

The trial featured testimony from former husband Patrick Clancy, Lindsay's psychiatrists, family members and competing forensic experts, along with diary entries documenting depression, insomnia, medication concerns and repeated attempts to seek help.
