Penington Institute Director of Research Jake Dizard joined Shane McInnes to discuss its 'Annual Overdose Report 2026' and it's grim reading. The most recent data is from 2024, and it shows that in 2024 there were 2,091 unintentional drug-induced deaths, the most ever recorded in Australia.
