Lt: Vėlyvą vasaros popietę, Vingio parke, saulė maloniai šildė žaliuojančias medžių viršūnes.
En: On a late summer afternoon in Vingio parkas, the sun pleasantly warmed the green tops of the trees.
Lt: Gintaras, vidutinio amžiaus vyras, po ilgos savaitės prie darbo stalo nusprendė pasimėgauti bėgimu.
En: Gintaras, a middle-aged man, decided to enjoy a run after a long week at his desk.
Lt: Jis visada stengėsi rūpintis savo sveikata, tačiau darbas buvo pirmoje vietoje.
En: He always tried to take care of his health, but work was a priority for him.
Lt: Jo žmona Dovile dažnai jį ragino neskubėti ir atsipalaiduoti, tačiau Gintaras buvo užsispyręs.
En: His wife Dovile often urged him to slow down and relax, but Gintaras was stubborn.
Lt: Šiandien jis su draugu Mindaugu susitarė bėgioti.
En: Today, he had agreed to go running with his friend Mindaugas.

Lt: “ – pasiūlė Mindaugas.

Lt: „Aš gerai jaučiuosi,“ – atsakė Gintaras, nors juto šiokį tokį nuovargį ir sunkumą krūtinėje.
En: "I feel fine," Gintaras replied, although he sensed a slight fatigue and heaviness in his chest.
Lt: Dovile prieš jam išeinant dar kartą bandė įtikinti pasilikti namuose.
En: Before he left, Dovile once again tried to convince him to stay home.
Lt: „Galėtų būti blogai, jei neatsipūsi,“ – sakė ji.
En: "Things could turn bad if you don't take a break," she said.
Lt: Bet vėjas parke kvepėjo laisve, ir Gintaras jautė, kad galėtų nugalėti pasaulį – ar bent jau savo silpnumą.
En: But the breeze in the park smelled of freedom, and Gintaras felt he could conquer the world—or at least his own weakness.
Lt: Pradėjo bėgti plačiu taku, aplink juos – kiti sveikatos entuziastai, šeimos su vaikais, poros ant suoliukų.
En: He started running along the wide path, surrounded by other health enthusiasts, families with children, and couples on benches.
Lt: Gintaras bandė neatsilikti nuo Mindaugo, bet jausmas krūtinėje stiprėjo.
En: Gintaras tried to keep up with Mindaugas, but the feeling in his chest was growing stronger.
