Hour 2 - The Chase and Sanborn Hour, originally broadcast August 28, 1938. Edward Arnold's last appearance as host. Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy appear from Chicago. Edward Arnold and Ralph Bellamy do a scene from "A Well Remembered Voice," by Sir James Barrie. The Dean of The School of Speech of Northwestern University presents Charlie with an honorary degree: "Master of Innuendo."
Hour 3 - The Shadow starring Orson Welles and Margot Stevenson, originally broadcast August 28, 1938, The Tomb of Terror. A mummy's curse seems valid when a strange ray kills those who enter its tomb. Also Part 3 of a 6 part Yours Truly Johnny Dollar story, The Kranesburg Matter, originally broadcast August 28, 1956. A .32 calibre gun on its way to the incinerator.
