This week we continue the Japanese theme with a full episode focusing upon the influential filmmaker Akiro Kurosawa.
Our presenters, Rhys and Billy, consider, in detail, the features of Kurosawa’s work over six decades of filmmaking; from the distinct visual style, the repeating themes, the pacing and movement, and the huge impact he has had on directors and filmmakers which come after him.
