Episode Details

The Miami Heat made two more roster moves, signing Nick Richards to a one-year, non-guaranteed veteran minimum deal and bringing Keshad Johnson back on a two-way contract.

Wes Goldberg and David Ramil break down why Richards always felt like the most logical fit for Miami’s open frontcourt spot, what he can give the Heat behind Bam Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo, and why the non-guaranteed structure matters. Then they discuss Johnson beating out other options like Trevor Keels for a two-way spot and what the Heat still see in his development.

Finally, Miami still has flexibility for one more addition if it wants to use it. Should the Heat leave the spot open, or could a familiar name like Gabe Vincent make sense as the final piece of the roster?
