US 60 Pavement Rehabilitation in Globe
Description
Two miles of US 60 through downtown Globe has a new pavement surface following completion of an Arizona Department of Transportation project. The .7 million project removed and replaced the road surface between Santee Street and US 70, mileposts 250-252. Crews also made sidewalk, curb and gutter repairs in the project zone, as well as guardrail and bridge improvements. This two-mile stretch of US 60 runs through the heart of downtown Globe, seeing an average of 16,400 vehicles traveling through the area each day.
