Description
Our Miss Brooks presents “Indian Burial Ground,” episode 104, originally broadcast on CBS Radio on November 5, 1950. Eve Arden stars as Madison High’s quick-witted English teacher, Connie Brooks, alongside Gale Gordon as Principal Osgood Conklin and Jeff Chandler as Philip Boynton.

During Madison High’s annual toy drive for underprivileged children, Miss Brooks learns of a purported Indigenous artifact connected to Mr. Conklin’s property. Her curiosity sends her to the school library to investigate a possible Arapaho burial ground, with comic complications close behind. Written by Al Lewis and produced by Larry Berns, the broadcast also coincided with National Education Week.

Old Time Retro Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
